Emerging Aging &
Disability Resource Connection (ADRC)

The San Mateo County Aging & Adult Services and Center for Independence of Individuals with Disabilities (CID) are working together as an Emerging Aging and Disability Resource Connection (ADRC) to provide a coordinated point of entry for older adults and individuals with disabilities to ensure access to services and supports needed to remain independent in the community. The Emerging San Mateo County ADRC will use a "No Wrong Door" approach to streamline access to long term services and supports.

  • Options Counseling
  • Short-Term Service Coordination
  • Transition Services

CID and County Aging and Adult Services will build an integrated network of various community-based organizations and extended partners where older adults and individuals with disabilities will receive the same information and service regardless of which partner "door" they enter.
